1. Booking Policy

All booing’s are non-refundable. If you cannot make a booked session, please contact us up to 24 hours beforehand that we can rearrange your session time.

  1. ‘Make Believe’ does not accept responsibility for the supervision of children.

     

    1. All children must ne accompanied at all times by an appropriate adult (hereafter referred to as the ‘accompanying adult’). This is someone who is over the age of 18 and is either a parent, guardian, nominated relative or carer of the child/children who must remain within the building at all times.
    2. We operate a challenge 25 policy; we reserve the right to ask for ID with date of birth for any carer or nominated relative who appears to look under the age of 25 in order to ensure they are over 18.
  2. Registration upon first visit to ‘Make Believe’

We ask that all users of the site register with ourselves using the form provided in order that we can ascertain any special requirements that an individual may have in order to offer support. This will also aid with any emergency situation should one ever occur. This also allows us to contact you with any special offers/events that come up in future.

  1. Respect for others (adults and children)

     

    1. In order to guarantee a happy and safe environment for everyone present, we cannot accept vulgar/bad language, aggressive play or bullying behavior by children or parents towards other children, parents or staff.
    2. Any parties (child or adult) who breach this fundamental request will be asked to leave the premises immediately and without refund.
  2. Respect for property

We ask that all children and adults present on site are respectful to the premises and contents of the premises, to ensure that a safe and inviting environment is maintained for all.

  1. Food and Drink

     

    1. Please only consume food and drink that has been purchased on the premises.
    2. If you have a dietary requirement, for example your child be weaning or you/your child has special dietary requirements we are happy to permit food being brought for them.
    3. Please advise us in advance (Ideally upon registration) so we can be of assistance in this regard.
    4. For health and safety reasons food must only be consumed in the dining area and not the play areas.
    5. If food or drink is spilled in or outside the dining area, please let a member of staff know as soon as possible so that the are can be cordoned off and cleaned.
    6. Chewing gum, is strictly prohibited (without exception).
  2. Safety

We take every possible step and precaution to ensure that we have a safe play environment for everyone, however accidents can occasionally happen.

  1. ‘Make Believe’ cannot be held responsible for any accidents which occur when playing or due to a lock of supervision by the accompanying adult.
  2. Should any such incident occur we ask that you report it immediately so that we can record it in our accident book and be able to assist you as needed.
  3. There is a First Aid kit on site.
  1. Broken Equipment belonging to the Centre

Should you come across any broken equipment (which may happen) we ask that you please let a member of staff know as soon as possible, so that it can be removed from the play area to avoid any risk of injury.

  1. Personal Belongings

     

    1. Please Park your buggy in the buggy park as you enter ‘Make Believe’. If you do need to bring your buggy in, please let a member of staff know that they can be of assistance.
    2. ‘Make Believe’ cannot be held responsible for any losses or damage to personal property while on the premises. Any personal items are left at the owner’s risk.
  2. CCTV and Photographs

     

    1. We operate a CCTV system at all times whilst on the premises, the protection and safety of all who visit ‘Make Believe’.
    2. Occasionally we do take photographs of the premises including the children playing for marketing purposes. Please let us know in advance, if you would object to this so that we can ensure that you/your child’s image will not be used for this purpose.
  3. Car Park
    1. Our car parking is limited and customers can use this upon a first come, first served basis. Please be aware that ‘Make Believe’ do not accept any liability for cars parked within the car park area.
    2. Please be aware when driving out of the car park area at ‘Make Believe’ that small children may be within the vicinity and we ask that you take extra care in this regard.
